Lake Pukaki is the one of the three main lake in South Island, an icon of New Zealand. The huge open space glacier fed alpine lakes with endless skyline. The incredible night sky is also the reason for you to visit here!

Getting there: Way to Mt Cook, which run along the side of the highway.
This lake is much like Lake Tekapo. However, the turquoise colour of water (can't really describe the beauty of the lake by words, it is much more than that!) make it more special than the others.
This lake is closer to Mt Cook, it is clear to see the mountain from here especially in a clear weather.
